New to the area, made an appointment a month ago. Just walked in and was told that my appointment was scheduled for another day (Monday) Asked why I was not called to confirm to be told that they didn’t even have my phone number! Clearly a mistake on their part because I gave them my information including insurance info. Rude receptionist offered me an appointment on July 21!! After already waiting a month they want me to wait another month? No thank you.

Today was my 4 year olds first eye exam. He has sensory issues and can be a very difficult child if he is made to feel uncomfortable. Im always nervous when we go somewhere new. I never know how the staff is going to be. However today I was pleasantly surprised! Dr.Payne and his nurse were amazing. Extremely kid friendly! We had such a good experience 🙌🏻 I highly recommend this practice. ❤️
Thank you to all who prayed, called and came by during the last 24 hours. Thankfully my Mama was able to recognize the symptoms and Doctor Aldrich and Doctor Gupta at Wilson Eye Associates caught the retinal detachment before it reached the center of the eye . Was able have surgery last night bout 10:00 and had my post-opt this morning. Surgery was a success!! Just have to give it about 6 -8 weeks to heal. Thanks also to Dr. Grewal at Duke Eye Center and Dr. Vajzovic and Duke Hospital for all their tremendous work!! Most of ... read more
