I complained several years ago about the condition of the hydraulic chairs patients sit in while having eye examines. There are cracks in the vinyl on the seats. With the number of patients seen at this office and the money Wilmington Eye makes from this office, it's a disgrace! The Drs and others who work there are so embarassed by the furnishings. How about spending some money and up grade the furnishings in this office. This posting is done by Joan Clemen, not Ray.
I had a very pleasant experience with Dr. Hoffman and her associates. It struck me that the chin rests in several of the instruments were uncomfortable and difficult to use well. I am a bit overweight with ample girth so getting my chin to stay in the correct position was difficult because of the design of the bottom of the instrument and not just the small chin rest. I shoiuld lose weight but in my many decades of having my eyes examined, the chin rests stood out as being especially difficult. Everything else was wonderful ... read more
I was able to make an appointment for an eye infection that was identified by my family doctor. The receptionist, nurse aid, and De. Hoffman we're excellent in my treatment.
