New Management Beachway Links, well.. I did write a scathing review before. But, now the complex is under new management and we will see how things go.
The Pros and Cons The Pro's first: Next to Wickham Park, very clean, nice floor layout, nice staff, very nice neighbors, plenty of parking, and gas appliances (I forgot how much I loved to cook on a gas stove. Rent can also be paid online or auto withdrawn.
Cheapskates. Unfortunately Southwood Acres cannot seem to keep up with the snow. The total rent collected for a month from the entire complex is in excess of $100,000. They won't even spend $4,000 to get a heavy duty plow here to fix the parking lot. It's been a rough winter, and at this point parking is worth its weight in gold. If they'd just spend the money once, they'd be fine for the rest of this winter, but nope, they'd rather inconvenience their residents.
Good place to call home I have lived at Rancho for almost a year and have never had any major issues. There are a lot of kids but it's overall fairly quiet. I've never had any major problems, and you can always find parking (which is rare for apartment living). The apartments are very spacious and much cheaper and bigger than any competitors. Staff is great and maintenance staff is just as good. I will re-lease when the time comes.
Edgewood Apartments is an overall good place their apartments are reasonably well maintained, apartments are a bit small but comfortable, the staff is friendly, maintenance takes good care of the grounds, tenants can enjoy yards and small flower beds of their own, children are allowed to play around the grounds but plans for a common play area for them should be put in the agenda soon, inspections concentrated on apartment cleanliness that collide with a tenants busy schedule and lifestyle should be reevaluated, community is... read more
Great place to live!! I would still be living there if I didnt buy a house! The staff was absolutley wonderful and always there for you. The kitchens are adorable, not like a typical apartment kitchen! Highly recommended!
BEWARE!!! or you'll regret it. I currently leave there and i guess is not that bad. One of the things i like is that they're quite cheap and the new manager has a better attitude than the previous one which was a bit**. What i don't like is the park area has no lights, grass is terrible and not very clean. The pool is most of the time closed for "maintenance" and sometimes you don't even need a key to enter because its so easy to break into the pool with only pushing the door. Sad to go I lived at southwood acres for just over a year & it was a mistake to move out. At the end of my lease I found another apartment nearby that was cheaper so I decided to make the move. It's one of those things where you never realize what you've got 'til it's gone. I never realized how nice it was for someone to anwer the phone when I call, have an office on-site & have any maintenance issues fixed as soon as I report them. when my lease is up, I'll be moving back.
Fantastic place to live These apartments are fantastic inside! It just looks modern and pricey, but the rent is not too bad. The rooms are spacious and they have appliances in many of the apartments. The only downside is the location, off busy Elm St. But, if you travel to work via the Pike, then it's perfect!
