I gave a negative review earlier this month but here to say Willow Tree Farm listened to their customers & went back to the old method of cooking their pies & was as delicious as I remember!! Many people commented that they were just copying & pasting their reply to complaints, they made good on their promises as well as responded very quickly!!

My supposedly fresh turkey was half frozen. Couldn’t even get the neck out of the cavity. I picked two turkeys today, because I was planning on making soup today with the small 10lb one. If I wanted a frozen turkey, I would’ve gone to the grocery store. Ridiculous explanation from staff when I complained. If the temperature needed to ship freezes the turkey, it’s a frozen turkey.

My family enjoyed the chicken salad until most recently. As I was preparing a sandwich for my 4 year old, I discovered a very sharp piece of a chicken bone in the chicken salad!!! This is extremely dangerous and I was lucky to catch it before my son got a hold of the sandwich otherwise the situation may have been tragic. Extremely disappointed with the product and it’s quality! For the safety of my family, I will not buy this product again.

******EDITED********Willow sent me a Chicken Pot Pie using their original recipe and it was delicious. Please never leave this recipe of boiling the chicken. It may be more effort, but I promise it makes such a better pie, just like I remember eating as a kid. Such a great memory with great comfort food. Thanks again for the showing me you guys still got the "stuff"! ;)

As others have clearly stated below, Willow Tree chicken pies are nothing like they used to be. Basically, for $13 you’ll get a vat of watery, tasteless gravy with tiny pieces of puréed chicken which resembles baby food. Sadly, they used to be my family’s favorite chicken pies, but now we’ll spend our money elsewhere. Shame on you Willow Tree for trying to cut corners by skimping on chicken and completely ripping off all of your loyal customers just to make a few dollars. Consumers are way too savvy to keep buying your gross... read more

I have to agree with all the posters here saying how terrible this chicken pot pie has become. It is nothing but watery gravy and small crumbly pieces of chicken. The crust is not even that good; except for the very top, it is doughy and pasty. Your explanation of changing the way the chicken is cooked just a few months ago does not make sense as the posts go back more than a year with the same complaints.
