Belinda was amazing. Every appointment I mentioned how concerned I was with how swollen I was getting and nothing I was doing was working. One of the younger ladies kept brushing it off telling me it was “normal” but Belinda caught my preeclampsia and admitted me to the hospital. My daughter wasn’t supposed to be born for another 27 days. Prenatal care was very thorough and questions/ concerns were always addressed and answered with no rush to get you out of there. They sit and listen and take time with you which I appreciated. Regarding labor/ delivery, again- being listened to and heard was very comforting once I was in labor. I felt safe with the periodic monitoring of baby’s heart rate. Just my luck to end up with a very rude midwife. Thank God I was too busy managing myself through every strong contraction otherwise I would have left and stayed home! At one point she mentioned they had a peanut ball that would help me feel more comfortable and then she never even gave me it . Like If I was completely looked over . I loved my experience at Willow! I transfered to Willow halfway through my pregnancy after researching hospital birth and deciding a birth center better aligned with our family. The staff at Willow are the best, right away they recommended supplements and lifestyle changes for a healthy pregnancy. With every appointment, I felt more and more confident in my decision. I absolutely love this place! I gave birth here and they give you everything you need and more! if you have the right insurance (you can call and ask what insurances cover them), it’s fully covered. They really listen to what you want and they are also very much there for the Dad’s. They are really great at checking on your mental health. I absolutely recommend this place if you want an unmedicated birth away from hospital environment. They are prepared if you do need to be transported to the hospital.
