Unique Cajun and Southwestern style dishes Willie Rae's is a small restaurant on the square in Marietta. The food here is really quite unique, Cajun and Southwestern flavor dishes with a twist. My coworkers raved about the fish tacos. My favorite lunch item here is the smoked turkey chimichanga. If you prefer a burger, their bacon cheddar burger is also wonderful. The restaurant is decorated with art by local artists that is also for sale. Part of the fun of going to Willie Rae's for me is looking at all the art. Both people... read more
Willie Raes This little restaurant on the square in Marietta serves tasty cajun food. I particularly like their fish tacos . Fun atmosphere and the price is right !
Awesome selection Oh yum! Willie Rae's is one of my first stops when I go back to Marietta. I've loved it since the first day they opened. The selection is awesome - something for every person, every taste. The only downside is that it's hard to leave room for JJ's incredible desserts! But somewhow I manage. Try the fried green tomatoes, fish tacos, pasta yaya, po' boys, quesadillas...all excellent! PROS: Selection and style CONS: Quality can be inconsistent
best fish tacos! I love Willie Rae's. From the funky artwork that adorns the walls, to the great waitstaff (Michael and Luba are awesome). Their food is great and I have to get my fish taco "fix" more than I care to admit. I substitute the house salad for the beans and rice and get a generous house Chardonnay to complete the meal. Scrumptious. The other menu items are equally good. The lunch special (when available) of crab cake and grits is another good choice. My husband and I actually cancelled our Valentine's Day/wedding... read more
One of the best spots on the Square The staff at Willie Rae's have almost all been there since the day it opened. I think this alone makes this place worth 5 stars. The atmosphere is fun and lighthearted (lots of art for sale on the walls lend to the charm) The fish tacos are hands down the greatest ever, the secret is the wasabi mayo. Which is made from scratch. So good. Their daily specials and catches are delicious and if you're not in the mood for cajun, you can always order from their adjoining sister restaurant, Simpat... read more
good food Only been once but keep meaning to go back. Our food was excellent and we enjoyed looking at the unique artwork while waiting for it to be served. The prices are a little high, but it's worth it for the tastiness of the food.
