Server was rude as all get out.treated us like we're were trash.
The appetizers were amazing we loved them however dinner was not great at all. We ordered steaks and they were a complete let down. They had no flavor whatsoever very very bland and they were undercooked even after taking them back to cook longer (we ordered medium rare and medium). The shrimp on our steaks were severely over cooked that we could not cut them with our forks. We love steaks but these left a very bad taste in our mouths. Oysters Rockefeller, Seafood Gumbo, and house margarita were all excellent...Thank you...DR.
The food was superb!!! Our waiter Alex was also very pleasant. My husband and I went to celebrate our anniversary and was expecting a more romantic atmosphere however it was very loud and because of this I'm giving the 4 star instead of a 5.
Beautiful establishment, great view, good choice of beverages, food not so great. Even the saltines served with the oysters On the Half-Shell were stale. The chicken fettuccine with blackened chicken did not have much flavor. The chicken was overcooked and tough. The pasta itself was okay but there was very little sauce. We asked for bread and it came after we were almost through. It just wasn't the experience that I've had it other Willie G's.
We always make Willie G's a stop on our trips to Galveston-- and we are never disappointed with the excellent food and service. Everything is so nice and it's very relaxing to sit and and enjoy the atmosphere while looking out at the ship channel. I highly recommend Willie G's!!!
We ate on the patio which was a very nice atmosphere. The manager and waitstaff were excellent. My food was spicy and I loved it.
The food is absolutely amazing. Happy hour menu is enough food for a meal and if the blonde Marissa is bartending, I'm am one happy camper.
