The gumbo tasted real burnt and smelled loudly burnt. The fried fish was fried hard and not firm. Well I go back to this location in Galveston,, probably not.
The food was awesome. The service was wonderful. We went on Sunday which was even better. No crowds..no waiting for a table.
We had a huge group on the Busiest weekend of the year and everything was awesome! Super service and the food was supreme.
Food was Awesome! Well with going to over and over. Highly recommend!
Wedge Salad great meal also had Chicken Gumbo Great
The appetizers were great. Perfectly cooked. The servers were great. We visited during a busy time due to a delayed Carnival Cruise. The staff maintained composure and welcomed us in. Again the prices were reasonable and the food was cooked to perfection
We happened to walk by this Galveston gem and stopped for Lunch! The food was Amazing, the husband is extremely particular about Gumbo and Loved the seafood gumbo!! Service was great. Alexander was very knowledgeable of the menu and the other servers worked well together. I can't say enough great things of Willie G's!!!
We ate an early dinner. Our service was excellent and the food came out stove hot and very tasty. Sat outside and thoroughly the atmosphere of being on pier 21.
Our food was great. We had an asparagus and lump crab meat appetizer. For entree I had the ribeye. My husband had the seafood enchiladas. For dessert we had bread pudding ala mode. Atmosphere and views were wonderful. And wait person Allie was very attentive. We would definitely go back.
