Thanks so much for the kind words, Bridget! We'll be sure to pass this along to the team. Take care!
I had spent all day into the evening in the Surgical Family Lounge at UPMC Shadyside during my husband’s surgery, and he was admitted afterward. I was charging my phone in the lounge when I got the call he was finally in a room, so I hurriedly unplugged my phone, got his belongings from a locker and went up to his room. I ended up spending the night at The Family House across the street (a wonderful convenience for family members), and it was around 10pm in the hotel when my phone was very low on battery and I realized I lef... read more

You are shutting a vital health care clinic in rural PA and expect people to drive hours every week for necessary care and redo expensive testing in the middle of a pandemic. You have no concern for the hundreds of patients who are now lacking doctors and the regular shots they require. Or the staff losing jobs in a pandemic. I wouldn't recommend you to anyone.
EVERYTHING... nurses aids, nurses, house keeping, cafeteria and doctors and please forgive me for anyone I missed. I spent a week and a half in there fighting the covid. They literally saved my life. They kept my family updated as well as made me as comfortable as all possible. These are America's true heros and should be recognized by Wheaties, Nike and all your major companies out there. I watched and heard them in action losing patients, fight to keep them in bed with their oxygen on and smiling the best they could while ... read more

UPMC IS A 3.5 OUT OF 5, BUT TO ME IT IS A 0/5 WORST POSSIBLE EXPERIENCE, LIKE SOME SORT OF A LIVING NIGHTMARE. CANCER CARE AND SURGERY TWICE IN THE PAST 8 YEARS, A TOTAL OF THREE YEARS ON CHEMO, SO I AM MORE THAN AQUAINTED WITH THIS MENACE. I AM A FORMER EMPLOYEE, RN. IT HAS BECOME DIABOLICAL WITH UPMC AS A MEGA PROVIDER. I HAVE FRIENDS THAT WERE PHYSICIAN AND THEY LEFT BECAUSE IT IS IMPOSSIBLE THERE. UPMC SCREWS UP ON THEIR BILLING, AND YOU ARE THEN LEFT UP THE CREEK WITHOUT A PADDLE, NO ONE WILL LISTEN TO YOU. THE ONLY WAY... read more
