When I was booking our kabin I had no idea of the campground layout. Had one of the young men call me to ask if I meant to be closer to all family activities or not? Well, I am glad he noticed because the kids were so content just staying on campus. Yet, localized in middle of so many other attractions we have to go back to check them out. Thanks again KOA we love you guys.
Very nicely maintained campground. We had the patio site with a swing and firepit. Too hot to make a fire, but enjoyed the bench swing and saw a few fireflies. Staff was so friendly and helpful. Not being able to park in front of Laundry Room inconvenient---would be nice to have a loading spot. Said "No Parking" but painted yellow, so wasn't sure. All machines in working order.
This was just our second RV trip. Our first was Cape Hatteras KOA. We went to Williamsburg during the Labor Day weekend to do some shopping at the outlets. It was an amazing trip. Our younger kids loved the clown and animal balloons. My older daughter, although preferring our shopping trip, did enjoy our night cooking smores over the fire pit. The grounds were so nice, staff was great and the people we met were super nice. We had a great stay and will definitely be back!
The greatest KOA my wife and I have ever stayed at. We plan on vacationing at the same location next year.
Nice campgroung. Our site E7 needs to be leveled a little better, but the location was perfect! Our daughter enjoyed the Tshirt tye dye.
