if i could give 0 stars i would. they used AI on my unhelpful, indeterminate test. there were multiple mistakes with my charts that i pointed out to Dr. River. either they didn’t care or just wanted to get rid of me, because they never addressed them. they refused to try other testing methods when the first came back inconclusive, showing they don’t care about actually treating patients. it’s incredibly lazy if you ask me and bad practice if you ask my therapist. unprofessional staff, bad with contacting clients. scammed me ... read more
I rarely leave reviews, but I feel it’s important to share this experience. I contacted this practice in July and was placed on a four-month wait, which I accepted. I completed all required paperwork promptly and attended the initial appointment, along with all requested follow-up steps, which were time-consuming. At the end of the initial appointment, the provider stated that she was unsure whether a pre-authorization was required and instructed me, the patient, to contact my insurance to determine next steps. I am updating my review from 1 star to 5 because my attempts to establish services with Williamsburg Behavioral Psychology went unanswered on 2022, my experience in 2025 has been the opposite. My request to for mental health assessments were answered within 2 weeks & Dr. Marti has demonstrated a level of expertise & care that exceeded my expectations. Im 27 years old and have been seeking an autism assessment for years. I finally took the plunge and worked with Dr. River on my case. They worked with me through thorough testing and was very compassionate throughout the entire process. They walked me through my entire diagnosis so you understand everything and gave me some great resources.
