I am updating my review from 1 star to 5 because my attempts to establish services with Williamsburg Behavioral Psychology went unanswered on 2022, my experience in 2025 has been the opposite. My request to for mental health assessments were answered within 2 weeks & Dr. Marti has demonstrated a level of expertise & care that exceeded my expectations. Im 27 years old and have been seeking an autism assessment for years. I finally took the plunge and worked with Dr. River on my case. They worked with me through thorough testing and was very compassionate throughout the entire process. They walked me through my entire diagnosis so you understand everything and gave me some great resources. Don't waste your time right now (August 2025) by trying to call as they instruct new patients to use their online portal, and when you use the online portal to let them know you have a direct referral they'll waste 3 weeks of your life before responding that they have no providers available. I understand staffing issues and heavy influx of messages but having this information available even on their website would've saved me from having to restart this process almost a month later which I would've appreciated.
Never get answers when you need them. Been almost a year since diagnosis and tests for my daughter and still no records sent to us. Only a letter from the initial meeting. I know they are busy but this is not professional. Going on day 6 waiting for a response (again). Was told back in August they would send us copies. Update: we called the main office and got copies sent to us within a couple days.
Dr. Marti is very good at her job.
