I had to fight with them over my deposit. I left apartment super clean and the people were upset that I upgraded to ceiling fans in the bedroom and new vanity lights. They had t12 4 foot. Single bulb. Pros rent is super cheap. Cons. May not fix your dishwasher.
I say it is what you pay for. They are older apartments, so there are little details that I wish would be fixed but overall, I love the space. I haven't had any safety issues and I feel safe to let my son play with his friends in the courtyard! The manager doesn't tolerate anything that isn't unsafe. They're strict on who is living in the apartments. It's family oriented and a perfect place to start off or settle down. Spacious, cheap and safe!
