Don't order anything you want to give as a gift unless you plan far ahead in advance. I purchased the "Newlywed Boxed Set Cookbook". Every indication on the website informed me that it would indeed be delivered over the weekend if I paid for expedited delivery. It cost an additional $45.50 to do so. No additional emails have been sent other than advertising. I asked if the new couple had received their gift and was told no. Had to find the original email and track the shipment. Whenever in the area, this is a regular stop to see if there is anything new.
Disappointed with the customer service today. We attempted to do a simple exchange for an item of equal value and was completely dismissed. The manager we spoke with didn’t take the time to listen or explain options, which made a straightforward situation unnecessarily uncomfortable. I’ve always expected better service from Williams Sonoma and hope this location takes customer experience more seriously moving forward.
