Williams-Sonoma is mecca for cooking buffs. The Beverly Hills store is huge. I could (and do) spend hours there. Their selection of cooking utensils is great. I'm also a gadget junkie and they have tons of specialized cooking gadgets that the staff is happy to talk to you about and answer questions. Lots of specialty items, too.
