Dr. MacLaughlin ("Dr. Mac") was an awesome oncologist who saw me on follow-up every six months for several years until retiring. He was kind, very patient with my questions, and took time to explain the unknown. While he is sorely missed, the practice put me in good hands with Dr. Alevizakos. Also, the Infusion Center staff are just as awesome. Instead of feeling like another number, this oncology practice has always shown their care for the best interests of their patients.

Help! Do you take cardinal care by medicaid? I have 3 concerns, blood, lung, heart, as well incontinence. My primary doctor wants me to see a Oncologist immediately. Help!
Mac is an excellent physician who is able, affable, and accessible. He's readily available by appointment, by message on Riverside Mychart, and has stopped by the infusion center on several instances when I've had questions or just to see how I'm doing. The several nurses in the infusion center also are caring, concerned, knowledgeable and professional. I highly recommend Dr. MacLaughlin and the nurses without hesitation.
I had a wonderful experience with him.. its so hard to find a good hematalogist when u have sickle cell and he was kind and made me feel cared for
