I had an appointment with Dr. Satterfield today and to say I felt dismissed and like an inconvenience is putting it mildly. I felt like he was just placating me. My issues were not taken seriously and was told I was too young to have some of the pain I was having. I have been a nurse for 15 years and now I am a nurse practitioner. I have many years of long hard hours on my feet and legs caring for others. My knee is hurting something is wrong with it and I get told I am too young to be hurting like this. Dr Satterfield has replaced my right knee and has done major repairs on my right shoulder!! I am so pleased with his work and his manner.. quiet assurance.. willing to listen … and genuinely wants to help you!! New x-rays on my left knee.. injections.. are working for now !! I just wouldn’t go anywhere else! I feel like I am being taken care of!! From the check-in people… like Debbie.. and all the folks in the back!! They are all very nice people!! I am thankful for Orthocarolina!!
Have been a patient of Dr Satterfield for several years. He advised that I should try knee exercises first along with shots and added that I would know when the pain/discomfort would get to the point that I would seek surgery. After 3 years I am at that point now and feel that I am in good hands.
