Surgery for bunion. Bone did not fuse after 14 weeks. Accused me of breaking plate in my foot.
I've been a patient at Lowcountry Ortho in the past, which gave me confidence that this first appointment with Dr. Corey would go well. He examined my ankle carefully, explained what he saw on the X-rays, and fully answered my questions. I'm happy that his knowledge and professionalism was equal to the past care I've received from Dr. Jaskwhich and Dr. Cox.
Dr. Corey explained everything to me. Explained where my fracture was and everything I needed to do to heal. I kept having pain so he ordered an MRI and the results were I had a cuboid fracture too. I am glad I went to Dr.Corey. If I have another foot problem, I will return to Dr. Corey.
Took time to help me with a stress fracture of the metatarsal of my left foot!! He explained things very well. Great bedside manner!
Dr. Corey and his entire staff were professional and pleasant. They listened intently as I described my issue. Dr. Corey demonstrated exercises that I should use for relief. I definitely recommend him.

The outpatient facility keep in touch with me post operation, and his nursing assistant Christi is awesome. I’ve had to call a few times just to as... read more
