I met with Dr. Shepard for a preventative screening and procedure and he was very patient and thorough. He met with me prior to the procedure to explain everything and what I should expect; I appreciated his kindness and patience and felt very comfortable with him as my doctor, not to mention his stellar team of nurses! I couldn't have been luckier to have Dr Shepard as the surgeon in the ER the day I went in for abdominal pain. Turned out I needed an appendectomy. This appendectomy quite possibly saved my life. When Dr. Shepherd did the operation, he went in to remove the appendix and discovered that I had a very rare tumor. He quickly provided me with follow up care - the surgeons who did my follow up surgeries said they were very impressed by Shepard's work. He and his staff are comforting, honest and patient. This man has a problem with being honest. Found out later from a different doctor that he made major mistakes in my surgery not once but twice. Had two surgeries and ended up in worse shape than I was before I saw this doctor. Please do research before you see someone. It is a shame when you go see a doctor and they can't be man enough to admit they made a mistake.
Went to discuss the a needed surgery. He was wonderful answering our questions and explaining the procedure. I willndefinetly be using him for my upcoming surgery,
