Have seen Dr. Maron Sr. for 20 years, now seeing Dr. Maron Jr. Both are excellent ophthalmologists and the office is generally efficient and friendly. Sometimes they get backed up and you might have to wait up to 30 minutes. Highly recommend overall.
I waited for 50 minutes and when I said something I was told, "I am a busy man." I replied that I was a busy woman. He told me that I could reschedule or find another doctor. I wonder if he would speak to a man like that. Rude and arrogant.
Called to schedule an eye exam in network with my vision insurance. Was scheduled and then came the call backs telling me they needed to use my Health Insurance not my Vision insurance that they agreed to accept with the insurance provider. This will change my out of pocket expense from $0.00 to paying the whole thing out of pocket due to deductibles. If that's the case why am I using you "in network" for vision insurance? I feel its a bait and switch, be careful here.

Insurance is not always cut and dried, particularly when vision care is involved. Certain conditions are covered by your vision insurance that are not covered by medical insurance and vice versa. It is never the intent of this office to tell a person one thing only to change once care is given. It is our hope you were able to receive an explanation which let you know the reason the change in insurance was necessary. Please accept our sincere apology. We are not a bait and switch kind of office.
Dr. Maron is a wonderful and caring doctor with a great sense of humor. His staff is also wonderful. I feel so relaxed in his office.
