Dr. Perez is a unicorn. He provides the absolute highest standard of care for both mother and baby, while also respecting the mother’s wishes and boundaries. I had always dreamed of a completely natural birth, but preeclampsia made an induction necessary. Dr. Perez explained all the risks but didn’t try to scare me, and when it came to the induction he gave me the reins and let me set the pace for what steps we took and when.
