I have never met a doctor or front office who is more irresponsible about providing test/scan results back to a patient or returning a phone call. Its been over a week, 3 messages have been left and still no call back. Highly unprofessional! I would give 0 stars if possible.
If I could give no stars I would. They don't return calls, they lie, they are rude.
Dr. Katkov is extremely knowledgable, thorough, takes the time to speak with you and really listens. He is thoughtful and he and his staff have excellent follow through. I cannot recommend him highly enough. He has been my doctor for many years and I've referred many friends and family members to him, all of whom have been very happy with their experience.
I read the reviews here as part of my research when I was looking for a doctor to conduct a colonoscopy for my 81 year old mother. As the negative reviews didn’t reveal specifics AND her current physicians knew of and endorsed Dr. Katkov, we went with him. We are very glad we did. He took great care of mom, listened to all our concerns and did a great job. Is he busy? Yes. Can he spend hours discussing the Art of Colons? No. But that’s not what we needed - we need a pro, and that’s what we got!
He saw me fast. Which is the only good thing. I was in terrible pain and he would not return my phone calls for five days. He lied to my general doctor saying he called me when he didn't. Why he would lie I have no idea but it says something about his character. Also you will never talk to anyone only vm. The people working the front complain they are under staffed and can not handle all of the calls and Drs.
This doctor is careless and makes serious errors which endanger patients. He rushes through procedures. Avoid him.
I was referred to Dr. katkov by my main physician Doctor Sachs. She told me that he was fantastic, and she was absolutely right. He was kind patiant and willing to to here my concerns. Both he and is staff are amazing specially his nurse and right hand women Lisa. Thank you Doctor Katkov and Staff. Erik Butler
My wife and I were both struck by the efficiency and the friendliness of this office. We only waited about 2 minutes before being called in and every person we encountered was extremely friendly. Dr. Katkov let me fully express my concerns about my health situation and he listened intently. He was warm, knowledgeable, thorough, and made me feel like I was the only patient he had to see. Best encounter with a medical professional I have had in a very, very long time.
