fwiw, I've been going to Dr. Midkiff for about five or six years and every time I go, which is not as often as I should;-), it is like going home to visit family. Make that going home to visit pleasant family...(laughing) I understand that sometimes he misses his appointments to the minute, however, the reason behind it is the true concern he has for his patients. He REALLY cares and that is unusual today. I am not talking any other dentist down in the slightest, however, I hope Doctor Midkiff is a long liver as I have found both a friend and dentist for life. The only problem we have is common interest... We wind up talking about things when we should be taking care of business. Often times I am trying to answer a question while he works on me... In all truth I cannot think of a better dental practice and having to wait is sometimes the order of the day. If you have to operate on a split second schedule he may not be your man. That said you will not get better care period.

We went to this Denist office twice for my daughter the first time my appointment was @ 4:00p.m. was called and asked if I could come in early @ 3:30p.m. told them that was fine. Arrived @ denist office it was two hours before my daughter was even seen. The second appoinment was also @ 4:00p.m. asked how long it would be before she would be seen and the front desk personal acted like it was a headache to go in the back to see how long it would be, she stated that it would be 15 minutes, one hour later she was taken in the back. I then asked how long it would be before the denist would see her and thay stated 20 minutes I was not going to wait around another 20 minutes ( which could of eaisly been an hour) for the denist to see her. I told them to cancel the appointment. I had a credit with this business and asked for it to be put back on my credit card was told the lady that handles that was not in and she would have her call me the next morning never happened. I called the business the next afternoon and the front desk personal stated that she gave it to the girl and it was on here desk. I asked how come I was not called back she stated she did not know and gave me the impression that she really did not care. She ended up hanging the telephone up on me. No one even ever apolized for the time delay or anything, almost like they did not even care if they had my business. I would suggest that if the denist is running behind to give patience a call to see if they can come in later or reschudle for another day and people would not have to sit at the denist office for 1 1/2 to 2 hours to be seen by the denist. Some people have to work and leave early for the appointment and are losing money because of this.
