Dr. Handy is an excellent doctor. He takes time to explain what he is doing and why. He explains any additional bloodwork or other necessary tests to be done. He takes his time and really, really listens to you.
He is extremely thorough He takes time to listen
Dr Handy does not listen at all anymore. He interrupts when you're trying to tell him something. He doesn't seem to care about his patients.

always good. sometimes when a dr is as good as he is you have to wait. he is very knowledgable in his practice. takes time to talk to you and explain things 10 plus star
Zero stars. This guy really screwed me up. Ive never known him to be right about anything. He either lies or doesnt know what hes doing. He writes the worst possible scripts and doesnt understand their side effects. He simply doesnt care and is never wrong in his mind. Hes the worst doctor Ive ever seen.
Dr Handy is a very caring doctor. He takes his time with each patient and listens to you. Very good doctor.
The greatest Dr. In Abingdon. Very caring about his patients. A doctor that goes above and beyond for the well being of all his patients. Has been my Dr since he moved to Abingdon. He will always be my dr. And my friend. Thank you for all you have done for me.
I have accompanied my mother to see Dr. Handy several times and have found him to be and most caring, capable doctor. He makes her feel like he is concerned and takes the time to listen to her. That goes along way in the care of the elderly and I appreciate that greatly. Can't say the same for his staff. Trouble making apt. Making a 9am appt. thinking she'll be first and we don't get out til after 11! Come to find out there are 3 "first" 9am apts. Very rude to her over the phone.
