Dr Mallon is SUPER. Botherwise my husband who has glaucoma and myself are so thankful we found such a professional, knowledgeable and friendly Optomoligist. Both he & the Center/Staff are highly recommended in our view. :)
Doctor Mallon did not feel that I needed all of the usual testing before choosing the type of cataract surgery best for me. He told me that my eyesight would naturally adjust to having one lens see distant and one close. I could eliminate the need to wear any glasses at all. Had I known that my eyes might possibly not adjust, I would have chosen to have both of my eyes see distance without glasses and needing reading glasses for seeing. As it is now, I have to carry two sets of glasses with me.
I would highly recommend Dr. Mallon to my family & my friends! Outstanding doctor & staff and very pleased with the results of my cataract surgery! No more glasses needed!!

Dr. Mallon repaired my eyelids after having cataract surgery. My left eyelid drooped so much that I was not able get much light in to read and by the end of the day I was looking through my eyelashes ergo I would have to hold it up to read plus I was straining my right eye. Dr. Mallon explained the procedure during pre-op exams. I was very happy with his manner, explanations and ecstatic with the results. I can see w/o holding up my lids and a side benefit is I look better.
I would never refer a patient to this Doctor. He is in and out in a flash. When I tried to ask more questions he blew me off since I didn't choose the more expensive implant options for cataract surgery. Seems like a used car salesman. I will never go back.

Dr. Mallon is a wonderful caring physician who treats you like family. He is a great listener, I never feel rushed when I see him, and he has provided my wife and I with exceptional care both in terms of how he treats his patients and being incredibly skilled. His staff are friendly and professional. I have had an opportunity to get to know another another Dr. in the office- Dr. Katz, who is a great person and physician also. I highly recommend Dr. Mallon and his office.
