He mocked me when my dad died. I joined his therapy group when my dad had stage 4 cancer and had chosen hospice. Holcomb knew my father was dying. I was a few minutes late to group therapy the session a few days after it happened. He smugly told me I could share last since I was so rude as to be accidentally late. Dr. Holcomb essentially runs a pill mill. He prescribed me high doses of amphetamines and benzodiazepines with little oversight, which I find very irresponsible. He repeatedly tried to get me to attend his group therapy sessions and became personally offended when I declined. During a time of crisis he refused care (I imagine because he was afraid of being liable?) but did not provide any alternative treatment recommendations. Please do yourself, your family, and your loved ones a big favor and avoid this “doctor” at all costs. Read below for why. Our daughter’s appointment today was the first time we had the opportunity for an in-person visit.
