Although I have only completed 60% of my treatment plan so far, I truly think that Dr. Nordquist and his staff are wonderful. My new smile should be ready in March, 2006, so I cannot yet claim great cosmetic results, but I can say that this is the first doctor I have ever felt absolute confidence toward. After a lifetime of marginal and inadequate dental office experiences, I certainly qualify as an expert patient. A San Diego jury found that William Nordquist committed dental malpractice, engaged in fraud, and breached his contract with Barbara Kitzig, and awarded her $507,000 in damages for her many failed implants. I had written an earlier review based on just my own terrible experience with "Dr." Nordquist. Now, having had several qualified dentists examine and xray my teeth I have learned that 22 of the 23 crowns that he placed (one was over the implant) have margins which do not fit the gum, meaning food has been getting in and sitting there, already causing decay in the period of a few months. Run, don't walk, from this office while you can still protect your teeth, gums, and bank acccount. At a safe distance, input "Nordquist Kitzig lawsuit" into Google and see what happens when you're naive enough to trust this guy, as did Mrs. Kitzig, and I. Unlike Mrs. Kitzig, I didn't end up with food coming out through my nose due to a hole in the sinus that he created, only to be blythely reassured that it would heal on its own.
