It’s the strangest thing. I had been a patient of Dr. Buchner since I moved back to SD a couple of years ago. He’d been a decent doctor, even if a bit aloof. But, two months ago I got a letter from Perlman Clinic telling me I had been assigned a new Primary doc and that Dr. Buchner left the practice and the state. Firstly, Perlman Clinic, as an organization (which feels like an ironic thing to call it,) has demonstrated repeatedly that it has no idea how to keep track of its doctors or its own internal policy or external elements of bureaucracy and legality. But I've genuinely in my entire life never had a doctor treat me as poorly as Dr. Buchner did. He chastised and antagonized and gaslighted me for thirty minutes about my jumping from doctor to doctor as though I A: ever wanted to be shuffled around to different doctors or B: knowi... read more
