Dr Barrick performed back surgery on my son about two years ago. He had a serve pinched nerve in his lower back that he could barely walk. Dr Barrick fixed him, he's doing great now. I had neck issues from a past injury that over the years had gotten very bad. Dr Barrick performed my surgery a few weeks ago and I'm doing great now the pain is gone. I would definitely recommend Dr Barrick for any spine surgery. He has made a difference in my family. He might talk a little fast but if you stop him and ask questions he will exp... read more
This doctor should retire He is cruel slow and spitefulSelf important and rude Very cruel to my teenager who broke her arm but she has active aggressive cancer Didn’t care about her or her situation He is the most despicable crusty doctor and the reason you’re disappointed with your health care
I went to see Dr. Barrick because I have severe osteoporosis and I knew I had more fractures because of the severe back pain and agony I was in. Well, after waiting a while for him, he came into the room, looked at my MRI’s from last year, asked what I was doing for the osteoporosis. I told him that after being on medications I was now treating it myself with vitamins. He said “ well then you will go home and die”. I couldn’t speak, because I knew I would cry. I couldn’t believe it. He never even looked at me. He talked so f... read more
My father recently had an appointment with this doctor, & I am absolutely outraged by the lack of professionalism & empathy he exhibited. From the moment they walked in, the appointment felt rushed. Dr. Barrick barely took the time to properly listen to my father, constantly speaking with his back turned, muttering in a way that was impossible to understand. What shocked me the most, was his complete insensitivity toward my father’s health condition. He bluntly suggested that, because my father has cancer, the surgery “might... read more
Dr. Barrick performed a complex neck surgery five years ago and I am thrilled with the results. He was excellent in making me aware of the risks, expected results and possible limitations. The aftercare and physical therapy have left me with More, not less mobility and the excruciating pain I was in is virtually gone! I cannot recommend This Doctor enough.
Dr. Barrick is a rude, uninterested, impatient bully. At a time where I felt so helpless and unsure of what was going on with my body, Dr Barrick only made it worse. From the moment he stepped into my room to review my medical tests, he showed such a disinterest in my well being. I could tell he just wanted to leave. He spoke so fast that I could hardly understand what he was saying, and wrote so quick and sloppily that when I got home to review the notes that were supposed to help me, I just gave up. It looked like the hand... read more
If I could give NO STARS I would. Dr Barrick is an uncaring bully. He talks with his back towards you and speaks extremely quickly and mutters too. I called him out for his outrageously rude behavior. He didn't like it but he did apologize. I hope I never see him again!
Felt rushed and pushed to have surgery
I could hear Dr. Barrick yelling at the patient in the examination room next to where I was waiting. I was horrified to hear the woman pleading with the doctor by name that she was in agony and the pain was so bad. Apparently this was her first post-op visit. He told her he wasn’t going to change her medication, and she needed to “deal with it”. I am an educated woman (a PhD) and I am not claiming to be a medical doctor, however no one should ever talk to anyone the way Dr. Barrick spoke to that woman. She sounded as if she ... read more
