I fly in from New England to see Dr. Young. He is kind and caring. He listens to my concerns and symptoms. He makes a plan with me for my chronic migraines. He has spent 60 minutes with me discussing all of the treatments he recommends. If all doctors were like Dr. Young, the world would be so lucky!
I have been a patient of Dr Young’s for 15 years. In addition to being a premier headache specialist, Dr Young is kind, caring and supportive. He treats the whole person, not just the headache. Dr Young provides top notch care with the latest advances in headache treatment, including medications and devices, as well as holistic recommendations such as biofeedback and yoga. I am so grateful to have Dr Young on my team in the battle against migraine.
Two days in the hospital and I was called histrionic. When I questioned why I was told it was because of the multiple medicines I have adverse reactions too. One genetic test later and the doctors were back peddling because they learned I don’t correctly metabolize the drugs I informed them about correctly causing me to have bad reactions. Would not recommend. Dr. Marmura is a much better physician.
Saw Dr. Young during an inpatient stay. Despite telling him I did not want a particular course of treatment due to a previous reaction to the drug, I was told that I had “no choice.” Patients always have a choice in their course of treatment and the right to refuse treatment. This was a very disappointing interaction.
He is one of the kindest , professional, caring doctors I see. He actually sits and really listens and provides a game plan for you . He’s respectful, sincere and witty . I am so fortunate to have found Dr Young. I would highly recommend Dr Young to everyone
