First off I do want to say that Dr. Shapiro is very attentive during an office visit. Getting in contact with him outside of a visit is nearly impossible. When you're caring for someone who is 89-years-old with a serious illness, you should make your office protocol known prior to accepting a patient's care. Waiting 5-10 BUSINESS DAYS for medical advise is absolutely ridiculous. Staff answering the phone sound robotic- just repeating the same procedure over and over with not a care in the world. I am not sure where to begin with this. I was sent to this office through the VA for an evaluation over a year ago and had absolutely 0 issues. Then, I start getting billed from them for this service. Since I was referred by the VA I should have been billed, especially not a year later and out of the blue.
