A mother I worked with used Mr. Calandra as their custody lawyer when the children were under the care of DHS. He understood where the she was coming from and he worked with her to maximize her resources strengthening her case for custody. He also presented a bold and steadfast presence in a contentious courtroom. He presented his case and everyone respectfully listened without opposition. Needless to say, he won the case. He worked closely with mothers on welfare and those with limited finances.
