I’d never had a surgery before in my life. It was my absolute worst fear. This dr is the dr to go to if you are scared like I was. He will make you feel comfortable, confident and not scared! Amazing would recommend to anyone!!! Also minimal scars he uses glue instead of stitches so you don’t come out looking like Frankenstein!
I had two back surgeries, both being fusion, with Dr. Shumaker. He explained in detail what the surgery would be and how he would take the disk off the spinal cord that it was pressing against. We were so satisfied with him! My lower back was in need of a fusion, so had Dr. Shumaker do this one too. I was so happy to be able to walk again. I have a friend that Dr. Rizk did surgery on. I will say that I am not very pleased with the outcome. I feel that he is incompetent in this field of obesity. Nothing but problems from day one that could have been avoided. And now she is paying the price of his neglect. Please do your research.
Dr Rizk handled my bi-lateral hernia repair. He answered all my questions and was attentive to my concerns. I had an excellent result and recovery. I am happy to recommend him.
There's not enough good things I can say about this man. He's kind, straightforward and compassionate in a way that doesn't beat around the bush. I have a herniated disc at L5 S1 and he did absolutely everything possible to keep me out of the OR following my work injury. He is by far the best neurosurgeon I have met. As long as I have this debilitating spine injury I will choose Dr. Quentin Durward. If I could give him 100 stars I would. That's how much he's done for me and my health. I have had two back surgeries with the last one being a fusion. I would give Dr Shumaker 10 stars if it would let me. He has been very professional and trustworthy. Great bedside manners and it's always about my needs not what he wants. His whole staff is awesome. Keep up the Great work.
Dr. Rizk was very attentive. He listened. He had excellent bedside manners. I never had to wait very long for him after the nurse was finished in the room. I would recommend him.
I have been a really healthy person with 1 other surgery. Dr Rizk took good care of me, he answered all my questions , made me feel at ease. He has a great personality and a great smile! I would highly recommend him
