I went for an eye check and felt so uncomfortable the entire time! He was so rude and cold. I couldn’t wait to get out of there. I tried talking to him and did my best to be friendly. He didn’t seem to care and continued being cold and arrogant. I never went back and never will. At least the secretary was nice. She was more the professional than he was.
Dr. Willard saved me from daily discomfort and struggle. Forget the bedside manner. This is the best eye Doctor you can find. He diagnosed me correctly, after many others had given it their best and failed. Thank You, Doctor.
Dr Willard was the first doctor to detect a rare disease in my daughter’s sight after countless drs visits in the area . He was the only Dr that took the initiative to get down to what was causing her headaches and low vision. Forever thankful!
Dr. Willard was professional and communicative. He gave his professional opinion but allowed me to decide what to do. His staff was friendly and helpful. I appreciate that the office is not packed and the wait times are not long. The front desk person was wonderful!
Willard was rude, patronizing, and CONDESCENDING. I brought my elderly mom for a routine eye appointment. She asked a question and he went off on a tangent about always being asked this SAME question by patients and how he can’t understand how patients can not REMEMBER the answer year-to-year AND how over 30 years of eye visits (not with him!) she should know the answer. When he was done pontificating, she told him he hadn’t even addressed the question she originally asked!!! He then went off AGAIN saying he DID answer the q... read more

I referred to Dr. Willard by my father, who is a family practice physician and he also was highly recommended by a friend whose son was treated by him. On my first visit, I received a diagnosis that was a bit of a shock - but over the next few months I learned that I was in good hands. He always answers my questions and puts a lot of thought into the next steps in my treatment. The condition is improving which is a huge relief. You don't feel like a statistic with Willard - he actually cares. Also the office has a nice frien... read more
In a world of more and more “providers” it’s encouraging to know there are still some true expert physicians in our community to care for us and reassure us. Dr. Willard is a true professional who puts the needs of his patients first.
I saw Dr.Willard in 2018. I was just about done filling out the paper work they give you, in fact I only had 2 more words to write down. He walked out and indicated that I should go into the exam room. I smiled and stood up and continued to write the 2 words I needed to write and he exploded and screamed at me as if to say that his time was too important for him to wait for me to write out (literally) 2 words on the paper his office asked me to! I was shocked.... you don't treat people like that. I will never, EVER, go to hi... read more
