Set up an appointment at 12 with one of their CPAs for a phone interview, guy never called and decided to reach out to me at 2 o’clock as if nothing happened. Went with another place instead. Realized if they don’t take punctuality serious, then they won’t take me serious as a future client. Edit: they reached out to rectify the situation so i have changed my review. Appreciate them willing to learn and take the time to understand where i was coming from.
I tried to use Wilke CPAs to address an identity theft issue with an old tax return. While Wilke was unable to address my specific issues, they treated me fairly and billed reasonably. Omar Thrower was particularly helpful.
This was the worst experience. Beyond unprofessional. Regularly failed to meet deadlines and did not respond to requests. I only received basic information when I went to the firm's managing partner. I would recommend anyone else.
Edited on 3/22/22: Moving from 1 to 4 stars. The CEO reached out to both apologize, and rectify the issue. While I am not impressed with the original issue - I am very impressed with the response taken to address my concern. For the CEO to care about things like this - that alone makes me feel this is the type of company you would want to work with. Issue: This company has been sending me multiple bills. Wilke & Associates has been harassing me for the last 6 months about a bill for a different person with the same name (I have never used their services). I have told them on multiple occasions I am not the person they are looking for, yet they continue to harass and send me bills. I have been forced to leave this review to warn people of this company's inadequacy, as they are unable to take care of this situation themselves. I have also reported them to the BBB.
