I had to interrupt my climb because of lightning in the vicinity. They gave me a raincheck, I waited out the rain at the nearby hot pie cafe, came back and finished the course. When I was out on the course, I initially felt intimidated being so high up on narrow logs with no safety nets. Starting at the lowest level I became acclimated to the challenging environment and was able to gain confidence to eventually reach the highest level. Spent about 90 minutes total on the course. I made a delivery there. Looks cool! One day I will have to take my kids there. I told them about it. Then they responded " when can we go"!
The guides were not patient with my 11 and 8 year old who were having a hard time figuring out the latches or clips used to navigate course.
We brought a fairly large group of youth from church for the afternoon. Staff was professional and helpful with our reservations. We had several kids who changed their minds last minute and wanted to join in the fun. The Adventure Course team was flexible and accommodating. Great customer service and everyone had a fantastic time!
The best spot in the High Country for a great Adventure!!
