If I could give this barn a negative rating I would. I boarded at this barn for 3 VERY long years and it was way to long. My horse was depressed, picked up bad habits and coliced three times while there. The horses NEVER go out (one of the reasons my horse coliced). I got so sick of being yelled at or listening to the barn owner yell at other boarders. Like the others who posted there was always an excuse as to why they didnt go out, too hot, cold, windy, buggy, humid, wet, etc. etc. etc. I think just about everyone has been... read more

I am a current boarder at this facility and can tell you, this is NOT a place for a horse. I must agree with the other one star rating. I am diligently looking for another facility. The people who board here are terffific THEY are the ones who give you help when needed. Horses are fed high alfalfa hay and left stuck in their stalls for days and days on end (thats like giving someone TONS of caffenine and telling you to just sit still! Horses by nature NEED to move around. Unfortunaltely several horses colicked BADLY a few mo... read more

Beautiful facility, but the first two reviewers were correct. The horses are kept in ENTIRELY TOO MUCH. It is either too wet, too dry, too hot, too cold or whatever other excuse the barn owner comes up with. As a previous reviewer said, it is not the weather, but whether or not the owner feels like putting them out. The facility is not set up to make turnout easy, so it takes a long time and is a hassle. Consequently the horses stay in. The barn owners need to hire a barn manager to ease their workload, but apparently are no... read more

I love it there. Right now I work there, but soon I am going to be boarding. Ginny (the barn owner) is very understandiing of your needs. She doesnt let the horses out if it is raining, icy, or any other dangerous conditions. At WWEC, there are round pens, an indoor and out door arena, trails, a huge pasture, and an indoor turnout place. I would recommend WWEC to anyone who is looking to board, lease, or take lessons.
