It's the best in Pittsburg! I really like the Wild Side Salon. The stylist are well trained and trained often. They go to Bumble and Bumble in New York City (The High Fashion Capital) to do extra training! Their tanning beds are average. The manacurists does a really good job and is so very nice. PROS: New York trained CONS: They hit on my husband!! LOL B-4 we were married!
First class quality! I am a college student at PSU and the Wild Side is the best salon I have ever been to! All the stylists are very professional but fun. They know what they are doing and tell me all about what they learned in New York every time they go. The products they sell are amazing! I recommend all the friends and family to go to the Wild Side to get quality haircuts and color! I can't wait for my next appointment! Don't listen to the negative comments girls, you're great!
HOLLY IS AWESOME!!! Holly the owner is awesome at what she does, she always has cool updated styles for me and i let her do anything she wants with my hair when i go in!! I def. believe that the money is worth it all. I get the whole spa treatment every time i walk through the door! I know the whole staff is very well trained and is probably rated top notch on most scales!
over rated and over priced....for the messed up work my daughter 17 went in to have Mary do her hair -she put some messed up red in it and when she went to school was told to fix it and it was UN except able..after 115.00 dollars i called Mary and was told basically too bad it would cost another 70 to 80 to fix it..we flew to San Diego no joke for 160.00 round trip over spring break and to think it would cost me more to have my daughters hair colored COME ON you be the judge of it.. i talked to holly the owner who was more t... read more
I totally disagree! As a loyal client of The Wild Side I feel that I must say something about this last review. I have been getting my hair done at The Wild Side for years, Holly, and Mary have both done my hair, with great results. All the girls who work there are professional, fun, and know their stuff! I look forward to my appointments, and I've never gotten so many compliments! So for the girls, and anyone else who reads this review, take a walk on the wild side!
Mary you freakin rock! The Wildside has always been cutting by hair to perfection for the last couple of years. Mary Barber, who is by far the best stylist I've ever come across makes sure that my style is top notch in all those punk fashions that I enjoy. The Store is really laid back, everyone is friendly and willing to help you in choosing a look that personalizes you and your lifestyle. As long as I have a job haha so that I can afford their cuts, you can bet I'll continue to be a customer of the Wildside for a LONG time... read more

Amazing salon. Great service. Impressive results. I have been getting my hair cut and colored at the wild side for about 2 years. Mary has always done my hair and she does an amazing job- not to mention she has a great and fun personality. She always makes sure I'm comfortable and that I like my style before I leave. Best Haircut Ever!! I went in knowing how I wanted my hair to be cut and colored, but it turned out ever better than I imagined. Vanessa is excellent at what she does and really listens to you. It was expensive (one color foiled and a haircut $70) but it was worth it.
