update: 6/26/26 I visited Wide Awake recently, and the service offerings seemed to have improved, and there is a change to the menu of ice water for only 50 cents, which is appreciated. I realize the costs keep going up, for everybody. I appreciate that the ownership, actually cares and responds to customer complaints with action. I will continue to be a customer and hope that this business thrives for itself, employees, as well as for customers. I used to love this place… and they started getting stingy. Great service, awesome food, super tasty smoothie and really good coffee... Not to mention the view!! It was the only place open early morning near where we were staying, ended up going every single day.
Stopped in the park for a short walk and a snack. The food is delicious and fresh. When we ordered coffee, we ordered a regular latte, and 5-10 minutes later saw they have Lux Latte with condensed milk. When I asked if we could change the order to Lux Latte, they said of course, for no extra charge. Highly recommend the place if you are in the area.
