This organization has allowed us to make memories as a family that we would not of been able to otherwise. We have been blessed to visit local attractions through the generous memberships they share with the Heroes. In the past we avoided visiting these same places either because our finances go toward medical expenses or if we did go, we could only stay a short time due to my daughter getting to hot or tired. The support they offer to families is amazing. It's nice to know there are other's out there fighting illnesses and medical conditions with their little heroes also.

This group is amazing! The love and support you receive when you need it most shines radiantly through this group and its leaders. One of the worst situations is having your child sick, especially when there is nothing you can do to fix it, but having the support from WLH makes the situation a bit more bearable because you know you’re not alone.

Haven’t been a member long but love everything this organization stands for and does for everyone. Being a parent to a medically complex child is hard and can be lonely. They fix that, it is a giant family before you ever meet anyone. They also go above and beyond to help in any way they can ! I will forever be grateful for WLH!

We love everything that WLH stands for. It’s like a big family, and we have been part of this family almost since the beginning! We all help and take care of each other. We have got to do things that we otherwise wouldn’t have gotten to do because of WLH. The events they have let us get out of the house and meet other people that “get it”. WLH has helped us with Christmas for our kids when we couldn’t. They have come to the hospital and to our house for visits. They provide emotional support and a ear just to listen to whate... read more
