A Taste of Mexico I really like this Mexican store. It is the only one in the area with a bakery and butcher shop inside the store. They have all types of meats there and it is freshly prepared. The pan dulce or Mexican sweet bread is baked right on site. You can order Tres Leches (3 milk) cakes there. I was there on the weekend and got some really good tamales for $1.00 each. They also carry Mexican soaps, detergents and other interesting items. A cool little place to check out.
Mexican This is one of several shops in Dobson catering totally to the Mexicans clientele. You can send and receive money orders there, buy goat meat and delicious popsicles (rice is my favorite flavor). The proprietors may or may not speak some English. They don't care if no non-Hispanics ever come in. They have enough business with the town's Mexican population which is huge. It brings a flavor of Mexico to the rural south. Interesante.
