My approach is collaborative and child-centered. Parents know their children better than we do, but we know medicine better than they do (generally!), so we have to work together to care for their children. I enjoy developing a solid relationship and open dialogue with families. I will usually speak directly to the child & allow them to speak for themselves (when age-appropriate), will work to empower them to make appropriate choices about their health, and am not afraid to do my exam on the floor under the table if need-be!

We love Dr. Fose! My daughter just said today that she is going to miss going to her after she turns 18 years old. She is kind, thorough, and competent. She always reminds my children of the importance of eating healthy and having proper hygiene. She speaks to them at their level without being condisending. Great person!
