This man is worse than a slum lord. House had holes in walls from a leaking roof. A pipe burst in the slab and flooded the house, mold was built up where it had been leaking but not seen. He said he would fix the issues and never did. The carpet was squishy with water and the rest of the flooring was coming up. The Havac unit needed replaced but instead he kept doing quick fixes. This guy is a complete idiot. I emailed asking about a home for sale and this was his response. Are you a RE agent? If not don't waste my time. I am a local investor who buys and flips 20 homes a year. After this I was like, no thanks, I will move on. Who the hell responds like this when someone is asking about a home for sale.

I have to say that although Mr. Whitfield expects a cashier's check versus personal check doesn't surprise me. I can tell you some real horror stories on how renters treat properties. Please look around at some of the neighborhoods in Goose Creek. People that OWN homes, don't pick up the garbage in the yard! Renters are worse! He can't raise your rent 127% if you are under the lease! That makes no sense! I have found him to be business like, after all he is not your best friend, he is your landlord. I have rented from Mr. Whitfield RECENTLY and this man is a complete idiot. HE IS RUDE, ARROGANT, AND DOES NOT KNOW HOW TO SPEAK TO PEOPLE AS IF THEY ARE ADULTS OR HUMAN BEINGS FOR THAT MATTER. His property that I rented was a piece of crap that he fixed up just enough so it was livable and I paid him faithfully each month ON TIME. i NEVER EVER missed a payment and my rent was $1150 per month.
