My mom has been in Whitetail Springs in Whitehall, Pa for a little over 2 months. It took awhile to feel at home but the Leadership and Staff have been exceptional. They recognize how much we rely on them for her care and they meet and exceed my expectations. Memory loss is tough for everyone in the family. Even though there are times when we get complaints from mom, we recognize that dementia can have this type of effect on her. I call there desk 8 times over a two hour period to ask them to help my mother get something out of her tooth. They NEVER answered the phone. I am VERY UPSET my brothers have her in this hell hole.

My father transferred to Whitetail after having been in two previous facilities that were awful experiences. It honestly seemed too good to be true; it was only a bit more money for a dramatically different experience. All involved are friendly, kind, outgoing, and patient. It's genuinely homey, attractive, cozy. Always clean and always smelled good. My mother has been a resident at Whitetail Springs for 2 months now and I am very happy we found her such a wonderful new home. The facility is clean and homey, she has been well cared for and enjoys the company of the friendly staff and other residents. As hard as it was to realize I could no longer care for her at home, it is really nice to see her doing so well and to feel good about the choice for her care that we made.
