I arrived at the house today and was greeted with southern warmth, everyone was so friendly, Adrian gave me a tour and took me to Walmart and brought me some food which was amazing. I've been to other places like Oxford house and never felt as welcomed as I felt today. Thank you for helping me begin my journey on the right path.
I have started IOP continuing from inpatient at their Plant City location & both Tim and Patty have been so helpful! Patty is our therapist here and she really gets you to dig deeper and I've never had such a good experience with therapy!
Such a great experience. White Sands has been such a phenomenal experience. From plant city to Hyde Park to St. Pete sober living. My experience in the St. Pete sober house has been great. Adrian and Chris are both welcoming and understanding. They make the process of transitioning in the real world; real and practical and help us with healthy coping skills and life skills to be a better member in society. Allison the therapist is well verse and educated in the process of addiction. Forever greatful for all three of them.
This place was zoo. The housing is a flop house. Uncontrolled actually run by third party not WhiteSands and is riddled with bad behavior by managers and clients as well. Poorly taken care of and dangerous at times. Police there on several occasions in short stint there. Also meetings had multiple outburst ls and fights. Not good for mind, body or soul.
I’m very happy with the rehabilitation services I received at WhiteSands. It’s a well-versed dual-diagnosis facility. I needed to handle my alcoholism AND my ADHD with a focus on trauma and grief issues as well. Got excellent counselors, behavioral health techs, nurses, psych and medical Doctors as well. Plus chiropractic services, biofeedback and nutritionists. Well rounded focus on my as a human not just as an addict. I loved learning how to have fun in sobriety.
