put stuff in a storage unit came back a week later the key didn’t work called the owner the owner said try the one right behind it didn’t work owner said he called somone out there he cut the lock and not our stuff so he cut the lock to the one behind it that the owner said it was empty sheriff came and he said he remembers that they moved it to a shed at the front
Do not rent here. The owner gave us the wrong unit number, and then cut the lock and removed our stuff to his garage around a week after we rented. Then he suddenly remembered where it was after we called the sheriff. Unacceptable.
Owner promised to let me buy out my ex husband's storage after he defaulted. He called me repeated looking for payment. Then he cleaned out the storage and took the stuff after me asking for 24 hours and offering the payment. I told him I'd like to have some of the stuff in the unit back if my ex wasn't claiming. Very shady practices. I repeated called this man who promised me my stuff that was in the unit.
