Went for a drink after midnight on Thursday and the bartender (a white woman) was extremely rude from the moment we sat down. She asked, “What do you want to drink?” with an attitude, tossed our drinks at us, and immediately told us to tab out. My boyfriend gave her the wrong card and declined and she told us that “we needed to add more funds” in a bad tone. Bar staff on Friday night (10/24) were very rude. Didn’t feel like they wanted to help us every time we came up to the bar to ask for drinks. They definitely were more friendly to their regulars but always rolled their eyes or made a RBF when they had to turn around to help me and my friend. I have never been asked to start a tab at a restaurant before… very odd. I asked if I could start with a water when the waiter (with the Mac miller mirrors tattoo) told me that the water is self serve and then proceeded to bring water to everyone else around me. No one ever gave me a menu or offered me one (not even a QR code). I have never felt so ignored and mistreated at a restaurant. Once the appetizer was brought to be I “closed my tab” and left. The location is ok. The decor is nice. The music is cool. The free tea and coffee is cool. My only complaint is how cold they keep it in there. It seems like after 6pm, the temp goes from cozy to Antarctica. My hands become too cold to type, and I even tried dressing warm and was STILL cold! Can I suggest you all have the area in the back a little warmer than the area in the front because it's too uncomfortable to work in an ice cold building.
