RecommendedGreat ski instructors. I took two advanced “group” lessons taught by PSIA level 3 instructors. They were awesome (Betka Alexander and Mike Johnson).
RecommendedLots of varied terrain and not a lot of people. Been there 5 times over about 25 years. We went this year an plan to go back next year. It is spectacularly beautiful in the sunshine! Best of all, it is relatively inexpensive compared to Colorado and Utah skiing. The only difficulty is getting there. Rather expensive flying into Glacier Park International Airport (FCA).
RecommendedWhitefish, MT is AMAZING!!! We have been to Whitefish multiple times and every time we come back, we DON’T want to leave. The mountain is great for beginners and novice. We board and I purchased my board the first trip to Whitefish cause we were definitely hooked. Our annual ski trip is schedule to come back to Whitefish next month. CAN’T WAIT!!! 💙
Recommendedas much as building new chairlifts makes sense, and i can see some of the perspective of building chairlifts in basin and the expansion project there, i would love to see the mountain glade out terrain INBOUNDS as well. there are so many places inbounds that have become overgrown especially earlier in season, but throughout whole year as well. So many places could be opened up without having to cut runs but just by cutting out some trees and thinning out areas. This would make the mountain ski so much better and you wouldnt ... read more

RecommendedLove The Big Mountain. I’ve been skiing there since 1969 ( from Minnesota).
Worst service imaginable. My daughter was hit by another skier in December of 2018 where she suffered a severe concussion and whiplash. She has spent the past 9 months seeking treatment. We have tried to discuss the incident with ski patrol and the pass office with zero response. We have been told to email individuals and they do not respond.
