I am compelled to share my dissatisfaction with the service I received, echoing sentiments expressed by many recent reviewers. The construction project I am involved in is over a year delayed, and my attempts to communicate with Deborah Knight have been met with inadequate responses and a barrage of excuses. I was referred to this company through Rent To Retirement, who has since suggested alternative contractors to complete the work, which only adds to my frustration. Absolutely awful. Don't buy your investment property from them unless you don't want any communication or updates on your build. Also, still waiting almost 2 years for my investment property to be completed.

I contracted Whitestone for a new construction single family home in 2021. For two years, trying to get updates on the project, or any sort of communication was virtually impossible. At times it felt like I was being intentionally avoided. They even tried to trick me into signing a Non-Disclosure Agreement by running it through the title company at closing. After I confronted them with proof of an over-payment they stopped all communication. I have contacted an attorney and am pursuing litigation for $95,040.75

We are accruing thousands of interest due to Whitestone’s inability to complete a project on time (easily a year after the property was promised to be finished) and they have provided very little communication as to their issue in getting the property finished. They’ve responded with “waiting for a well” for a year now. We are seeking a breach of contract if this property is not finished immediately. All other white stone customers - please reach out to me directly so we can seek legal remedies together.
