Online instructions disregarded Ordered online 2 amaryllis plants for gifts, and wrote in the instruction box that they should be held for Christmas delivery. I was very specific. Instead the plants were sent out Dec. 1, way too early as far as I am concerned. I am actually quite embarrassed. I was told when I called about it that "corporate says" as soon as the orders come in "let them go after Thanksgiving." Beautiful Ideas White Flower Farm is fun to visit for many reasons. One, if you can't find something anywhere else, you can probably find it here. Two, the staff is very helpful. And three, the grounds are spectacular. The gardens behind the display areas are just beautiful and fun to stroll through even if you aren't looking for anything but just want some ideas.
destination for serious gardeners People come from all over to visit the White Flower Farm. They have wonderful array of flowers, plants, seeds and seedlings. The people are highly knowledgeable and helpful.
Green thumb's paradise [even a rookie!] This place is amazing, even for a novice with no green thumb like me. Their yard must be acres and acres, and they have an incredible mail order service as well. They know their products, and are great at listening to what you want and recommending shrubs/flowers/trees that fit the bill. If you're out of town, they have an 800 number so you can have your bulbs shipped to you where ever you are.
Gardeners Delight White Flower Farm has everything that you need to decorate the outdoors. They have a large selection of flowers, shrubs and plantings. They have various displays set up to help give decorating ideas. The stock will probably be low, but their end of the summer season sale is worth checking out. You can stock upon perenials for a fraction of the original price.
