During this past winter our furnace developed some problems so I called White Bear Heating to schedule service. They arrived promptly on time and advised me that my 20-year old furnace had a cracked heat exchanger. They were able to install a new Amana furnace the next day! The new furnace operates more efficiently and is quieter. Very satisfied! Many thanks to Rick and crew.

Had my furnace spontaneously decide to throw an error code causing it to not function. Called 11AM on a Wednesday during peak furnace season and was told a tech would be out between 1PM and 3PM. Tye arrived a little after 1PM. He was super knowledgeable and checked for several possible issues discovering a problem with the exhaust pressure. It turned out roofers that had redone my townhome roof had inadvertently disconnected the inlet and outlet for for the furnace air in my attic. They were voted best HVAC in White Bear and not sure why that is. I was quote an 80,000 BTU furnace. They came out and without saying why, they just installed a 60,000 BTU furnace. Called and couldn't understand the excuse for why but asked for my 80,000 BTU furnace. I had to call 2 weeks later to get status. Came out 2 days later with my 80,000 BTU and next day I smelt gas in basement. Called, they sent someone out and found a loose fitting in gas connection and was programmed to run 2 stage always, instead of automatically... read more

I would like to thank Rick at White Bear Heating and Cooling gave them a call to get a second opinion when another HVAC company told me my heat exchanger was cracked in my 13-year-old furnace and it needed to be replaced to the tune of $8,000 Rick came to my house checked heat exchanger saw nothing wrong with it fixed another component and the furnace has been working great ever since thanks again White Bear Heating and Cooling

While I have had these guys out for minor problems, and they have always been prompt, this last problem entailed replacing the A/C and the Furnace. Both were original when we built the house in 2002. Richard came to assess, and before leaving spent about 30 minutes drawing up specs for a new furnace, to make sure everything fit. A couple days later, Rich, Greg, Steve and Henry showed up with the new equipment and immediately started to disassemble and re-install.
